Uyghur Americans (Uyghur: ئامېرىكىلىق ئۇيغۇرلار, romanized: Amérikiliq Uyghurlar) are Americans of Uyghur ethnicity. Most Uyghurs immigrated from Xinjiang, China, to the United States from the late 1980s onwards, with a significant number arriving after July 2009.
